  In regards to weddings, from my point of view as a professional cameraman, over the past 10 years this venue has still not learned how to treat us. The cameramen and photographers must be fed where they can see the reception room so we don't miss any action. We need to have our meals at the same time as the guests so we actually get to eat before speeches etc begin. By the time of the reception, we are often well into a 12 hour day and have eaten nothing. Riverside Oaks has also still not consulted with a stage lighting expert. The dance floor area, bridal table and podium area need to be lit properly with professional lighting that does not cause issues to camera's. They also need to invest in proper light dimming controls. These issues have remained unchanged for at least a decade and are the reason I don't recommend the venue to our brides. A great shame considering the beauty of the property. Wedding couples pay us for our best work. Occasionally a venue hampers our efforts.

  Very nice place with all the facilities. And you can see Wallabies, kangaroos, kingfisher, echidna, and a lot more. Just remember to pay at the entrance.

  very nice scenery with lots of nature a place for camping fishing and a picnic good day for a family day out and have fun and lots of kangaroos
